SHORT EXPLANATION: Dreams between the age of five and seven. As the first morning light filtered through the bedroom windows, in a semi daze slipping in and out of sleep, an overwhelming fear of an entity would enter my space. My own horror movie. Combining torn paintings, drawing, collage and tweaking with digital software the use of a scanner and with the music of Carlos Nakai playing in the background… SEE MORE HERE of Ancient Traveler #1 & #2 – Digital Artwork – Music by Carlos Nakai “Earth Spirit”.
Using same technique as in The Alchemist #1.. this one created only as to see how much I can push an idea… this may eventuate to something, then again to nought.
Using a torn section of an old painting, photography and then scanning the image followed up by tweaking the work using software ACDSee ( Adobe to expensive), and PhotoScape, a free online tool I created The Alchemist as a homage to David Bowie.
It all began from a brain scratch (drawing from sketch book) and music played in studio which actually was my brothers early CD (released 08 August 2008 ) titled Son of Science.
All drawings are either graphite or archival none fade water based felt tip pens, my favorite and usually three point sizes.
